Metal Elevator Bucket; this is vertical conveying equipment, manufactured from pressed or welded steel, designed to transport bulk materials such as wheat, maize, pulses and fertiliser vertically at high capacities in flour, feed, milling and grain processing plants; it is resistant to high temperatures and wear.
Operating Principle: Metal buckets, mounted in a row on the elevator belt using special bucket bolts, operate on the principle of a continuous vertical cycle:
Robust Loading: Sheet metal buckets, which dip into the raw material hopper at the lower (base) section of the elevator, collect the product into their chambers. Thanks to its steel construction, it offers maximum resistance to the abrasive effects of hard, dense and corrosive materials.
Vertical Rigid Conveying: The rigid body structure, manufactured to withstand high mechanical loads and industrial mill conditions, safely conveys the material upwards without flexing or losing its shape during vertical ascent.
Centrifugal Discharge: Buckets reaching the top (head) pulley of the elevator complete the cycle by discharging the bulk load into the discharge chute without damaging it, utilising the centrifugal force generated by the rotational speed or the effect of gravity.
