The Selection Conveyor Belt is an ergonomic and hygienic final inspection station designed for the manual removal of discoloured or defective kernels from products such as nuts, pulses and grains that have undergone cleaning processes; it is equipped with lighting and speed control units.
Operating Principle: The food-grade PVC belt, driven by a 1.1 kW motor system, moves linearly on a frame designed to allow staff to work comfortably:
Visual Inspection and Lighting: A special lighting system integrated into the body ensures that products passing over the belt are clearly visible, enabling staff to select defective grains with high precision without straining their eyes.
Speed-Controlled Conveyor: The motor system, supported by a drive (inverter), allows the belt’s forward speed to be flexibly adjusted according to product density and staff working pace.
Post-Sortex Final Inspection: In facilities without a colour sorter (Sortex), the main sorting line serves as the final inspection station; in advanced facilities using Sortex, it acts as the final inspection station to guarantee defect-free products.
Food-Grade Hygienic Construction: The section of the line in contact with the product consists of food-grade certified PVC belt. Depending on requirements and process conditions, the entire conveyor can be manufactured from high-quality chrome (stainless steel) material.
