The Z Bucket Elevator (Vertical) is a conveying system suitable for confined spaces, designed to transport agricultural products—such as highly fragile pulses, seeds and wheat—as well as powdered and granular industrial materials along both vertical and horizontal axes without causing any damage to the product.
Operating Principle: The system operates on the principle of conveying products—fed either via a vibrating feeder or manually—using special plastic buckets attached to a chain mechanism that moves in an endless loop around four sprockets, with the buckets tipping over at the discharge point under their own weight to empty the material:
Precise and Loss-Free Conveying: Thanks to state-of-the-art bucket design, the buckets merge at the product intake point to prevent product loss, whilst at the discharge point they transfer fragile food products without damage.
Multi-Point Discharge Capability: Whilst the fully enclosed body structure ensures dust-tightness, the system is capable of performing multiple discharges at desired intervals along the line.
Flexible and Modular Design: Thanks to its fully bolted modular structure, it can be manufactured in different height/width dimensions according to operational requirements; dimensions can be easily adjusted in the future, and bucket options of varying capacities can be adapted.
Fixed and Mobile Model Options: It can be installed as a fixed line to suit on-site layout and logistics requirements, whilst mobile (portable) models are also available for mobile processes.
