The Flap Belt Z-Conveyor is a vertical-flap conveying system designed to transport packaged goods such as cartons, parcels and sacks, or bulk materials, along ‘Z’-shaped lines that start horizontally, rise vertically and then continue horizontally again. It ensures that goods are conveyed at near-production speeds without slipping backwards, even at steep angles.
Operating Principle: It operates on the principle of vertical flaps (fins) on the PVC belt, driven by a motor-reducer, capturing the products in sections and lifting them up the vertical Z-axis ramps:
Optimum Space Utilisation with the Z Chassis: It combines horizontal loading, vertical ascent and horizontal unloading steps into a single continuous chassis; this facilitates vertical transfer between floors or machines in confined spaces.
Anti-Slip Vertical Flaps: The flaps (pallets) mounted at regular intervals on the belt surface completely prevent packaged or unpackaged loads from shaking or falling backwards on steep inclines.
Speed and Height Flexibility: Speed can be adjusted according to the process with drive (inverter) support. Units can be manufactured with a fixed height or with mechanically adjustable height, depending on the facility layout.
Economical and High-Throughput Transfer: Minimises the need for manual labour, thereby reducing operating costs. With its durable PVC construction and special body design, it operates trouble-free for many years, delivering significant time savings.
